Wagner, one of MLS’s most consistent defenders, has been instrumental in Philadelphia Union’s recent success, contributing 10 assists and 2 goals this season. His current contract runs until December 31, 2026.

One of those DP spots is reportedly reserved for Rodrigo De Paul, while the other could be used for a big-ticket signing — possibly in defense. With Wagner under contract through 2026, a transfer would likely involve a significant negotiation between the two MLS clubs.
